COMPOSITION:

Each ml contains:
Meloxicam.(BP) 5 mg

Diclostar super (Meloxicam) is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory Drug. It has analgesic and antipyretic properties also. Diclostar super (Meloxicam) an oxicam derivative is reported to be preferential in hibitor of cyclo-oxygenase -2 (cox-2). Diclostar super (Meloxicam) 99% bounds to plasma proteins. (Meloxicam)has a plasma elimination half life of approximately 20 hours. It is extensively metabolised mainly by oxidation and excreted in similar amounts in the urine and in the faeces.

ADMINISTRATION & DOSAGE:

To be Injected by Intramuscular route only
Cows and Buffaloes: 25 -35 ml
Horses and Camels: 30 – 40 ml
Sheep and Goats: 3 – 6 ml
